Challenge (Iraq):

L3Harris required an Engineering Program Manager to support the Iraq in-country sales team and multiple contract service delivery obligations.

Solution:

Black Dog provided a Program Manager with engineering experience to liaise between Harris in the US, the country dealer, the US Government officials in Iraq, and the Harris customers in order to ensure that service delivery was undertaken, coordinated, and quality controlled.

Results:

BDC provided a consultant that became the ‘glue’ between supplier, dealer, other contractors, OSC, and users. Conducted in an extremely non-permissive environment Understanding the aims of, and coordinating, all the stakeholders ensured that flow-down of intent was made while feeding back up the user experience. This adjusted the next contract proposals and design of user needs.

Challenge (US & Tajikistan):

IAP in the USA required an in-country partner to deliver a contract in Tajikistan. This required a legal business and installers and engineers to deliver and install a communications system.

Solution:

Black Dog engaged one of its international partners who set up a company in Tajikistan and found all the required physical and personnel resources to deliver the contract. BDC managed the coordination and communication between IAP, their US suppliers, and the in-country team. BDC provided oversight to the project to ensure distance and time zone were not an issue.

Results:

The project was delivered within budget and on time while adhering to the strict financial controls and reporting required for US government contracts.
